my uncle ted is looking for his youngest sister joan .joan was born in 1934 in south milton,tadcaster district.ted says she moved to wakefield. i have now located her marriage certificate and she married george a housecraft in 1958 spen valley ,yorkshire(am awaiting her marriage certificate)ted is edwin clarence shephard born 1922 same place as above. ted now lives in shoreham by sea with his partner shirley.ted married my aunt edna (his 2nd wife). i'm teds niece wendy..he has given me his full permission to look for joan..so any info/help would be lovely

Hi Wendy,
I stumbled across your add by accident. I don't have any info regarding Joan but there is a possibility Edwin Clarence Shephard is my Grandfather. My Dad (also Edwin) never really knew his dad and never spoke about him. I wondered if Ted married before? Possibly to a lady called Lily Roebuck?
My Dad sadly passed away last year quite suddenly and his side of the family is a bit of a mystery.
