Mrs Patricia Groom was born Patricia Margaret Elliott in 1945 at Corbridge near Hexham.

She went to Cockton Hill Junior School and Leeholme Secondary School.

Patricia lived at 29 Proudfoot Drive, Bishop Auckland, Co Durham and worked for the Civil Service at Aykley Heads, Durham from 1962 until 1966, when she moved to the south of England with the Civil
Service.

Names of people she knew from years ago that come to mind are: Edith Gordon, June Williams, Barry Toase, David Harding, Keith Mills and John Pybus.

Posted 18 Jul 2006 14:19 By atemi	Hi! my name is Colin Richardson and i lived at 66 proudfoot drive and i was your boyfriend for quite sometime before we left school. I was captain of the football team...captain of the athletics team..and head prefect at woodhouse close school. I remember coming to your house after school to see you but you always seemed to be doing homework lol. We used to go to the recreation ground in cockton hill a lot. I still pass where you lived from time to time and still think of the many times i called on you there..i also remember you being a very nice looking girl and a very nice girl. I remember Keith and John well..in fact i saw Keith a few years ago.My friends at the time were...Gerald Shevels..Bobby Williams..and female..Vivian Ramsey. I remember you working at Aykley Heads very well too. Anyway i will close for now it was so nice to hear from an old friend..take very good care..your friend. Colin Richardson.
