| Gentleman Seeking A Lady Friend | I am an elderly University educated Gentleman and recent widower who wants to travel with a view to take a long winter break in Torrevieja Spain. To see whether I like going there for longer I have booked a flat for 14 nights (2-16 November). However my fear is that it may be a bit lonely and I am looking for a lady companion, who has some experience in traveling abroad and would like to be my co-traveler, initially for that fortnight and maybe longer if we both like it for longer next year. The companion should be able to drive, walk and cycle. A bit of cooking may help but we will be eating out a lot of the time.

If I drink alcohol; well I drink socially, if I go out with some friends and they are drinking something light its okay. My favorite drinks are Red Wines, but I prefer Champagne more likely. My favorite food is Pasta and Fried Chicken. I love to cook great home made meals and try new recipes when I am in town with my daughter. Titanic is my favorite movie and like all types of music.
I'm motivated by life itself, because life is what you made out of it. God our Father in heaven inspires me so much with His love and mercies that He shows us each passing day.

The bad bits are the weight....a bit too much, but I'm dealing with that; a gammy leg and dodgy hand, both as a result of medical miisadventure (the surgeon was trying to operate with chopsticks, I think), and I can't stand celery. Apart from that, I think I'm normal. Few would agree.

I am a retired mechanical engineer in my late 70s.
5ft 7", and only 10st 8lb in weight, no one believes my age!
I point this out because although I can enjoy the company of people of
my own age now and then, but being young at heart,
I have always prefered being in the company of younger people.
I,m still quite fit and active and been interested in martial arts for 45 years.
I recently learned a bit of dancing and love jiving.
But I live on my own, now my youngest son have left, and I hate it!
I live in a beautiful, historical North Lincolnshire country village
and have vintage tractors which I show at local events and ride about on.
My best blurb is that I am quite a romantic old so & so and
the only thing that makes me completely happy, is making someone else happy.
I have so much love and affection to give and no one to give it to.
Now to the selfish bit and the only selfish thing I ever remember doing!
I would like to meet a nice looking slim young lady with a driving licence,
to stay with me and keep me company until the good Lord calls for me.
Someone to share the rest of my life with for friendship,
company, and anything in between, ie. cuddles while watching tv etc.
A meal out and a drink now and then, days out etc. I have my own car.
I know we would have some great times, holidays, music nights and anything
else that looked fun. as I have a lovely daft sense of humour.
I may seem to be past my 'sell by' date, but I'm still a red blooded bloke!
But I enjoy cooking and do some great oriental dishes.
I am hoping for at least another 15 years of togetherness,

Here, at the computer, trying one more time to find and meet a true and honest senior lady with whom to share our happy, advancing years.
Yes, my spirit is always bright so everything is worth a try although I have to say up front having perused online dating sites that I have no interest in “winks”, “favourites”, frivolous “chats”, etc..
I am sure you, dear lady soul know what I mean.
77 years this coming Sunday staying currently with my older sister in Rainford, Merseyside, I am divorced, free to move, totally ready [ ! ] to meet and talk openly.
Professionally employed in travel since 1959 with UK and Australian citizenship I have toured and travelled much of the world leading my own bus tours and special interest groups.
Divorced from my wife of twenty-eight years but, gracefully, still friends, am now half-way through writing the second book of my amazing overland bus travel years.
Compassionate, intelligent, impulsive, quick decision maker, mentally intact, trim and healthy, fully fit bar a frustrating hip disability (more an issue to others than to me), I drive a car, ride a bike, walk slowly, still love travel, finding new places, meeting new people, theatre, photography . . . lots of life still to live and enjoy.
But! I need a loving companion. One with whom to share all things, a single precious person to love and care for.
You will know, when we meet.
No house owner ore rich, but a secure pension and boundless creativity to be unwrapped and released once I settle.
There is more to add, no doubt, but for now, you have an overview.

I'm an outgoing, tactile and sociable guy that's seeking a lady for friendship, maybe more. I'm in my 60's, 5'8" tall, medium build fit 'n' healthy and a none smoker.

A little about me - a young (mind, body & spirit), have never, and will never consider the numerical figure as a guide to ones age. At 61, I still as active as I was when 40, enjoy recreational cycling, swimming, kayaking, sailing, anything that takes me close to nature. I;ve travelled extensively, however the zest has been revived after a pretty trying time, break up of marriage, loss of family through death, and many more unpleasantries.
I would love to meet a kind loving lady of around 40 to 60 years old, who is free-spirited, adventurous and spontaneous, to put together a trip of a lifetime, which will begin exploring the beauty of the UK and Ireland, thereafter motor sailing from London across the Channel, meandering our way through the rivers and canals of Europe, with no time limits. Stopping and visiting various places of interest. Arriving in the Med; then off to the Rivera where I have close friends. At any stage should our presence be required back in the UK, it;s an easy and quick flight.
Would like to cruise around the Med for a while before heading for Alicante where the boat will be sold, taking us across the pond, when we will do an east west road trip, again with no time restraints.
