She was in the Anfield Road School Netball Team, together with Jackie, Dorothy, Lillian, Angie, Ann Nicholson and Norma Roberts.
From the age of three in 1950, Christine lived at 63 Nesfield Street, Anfield, Liverpool 4, and left when she was 17 in 1964.
She clearly recalls many of her neighbouring friends who she refers to as street kids: Jimmy and Eileen Boardman (75), Ronnie and Lesley Ferguson (79?), John and Dorothy Hunt (71), Robert Gray (69), Eileen and Sylvia Jones (59). Sylvia later married a Scot named Jimmy.
Other children in the same street included Georgie Jones, Valerie Boardman (55?), Pat Buttrill, who married Pete? Upton, Stanley Pope (64?), Norman Duncan (56?) and Rene Buttrill (No. 60?), who went to the States as a nanny.
Then there were the two Huxton girls, Carol and Sandra, together with their brother Ronnie, who all lived at 69? Walton Breck Road.
June Patterson lived in Nesfield St, possibly no.43 or 45, while Kathleen Clappison? Resided at no. 15. Hazel & Roy Pennington came from the Barbershop on Walton Lane.
After leaving school, Christine Lloyd, as she was then known, worked for the Ministry of Pensions in Walton Road.
