I wonder if these two old photos are interesting to you?

My Dads Brother who had migrated to Australia in 1912 and was in the A.I.F. sent them from England to his wife in Brisbane Australia during the first world war.

One Says on the back

Dearest Nell,
This is a photo of Australian troops passing through Warminster.




The other one says ,
Darling,
This is a most beautiful building, about 7 miles from here.


I would think they were stationed on the Salisbury Plains.

I have been told that some parts of the picture of Warminster are still recognizable.
