Re: Thomas Ford (late of Swindon, Wiltshire)
My gt.g.father Thomas Ford was born in Rushey Plat, Swindon, 13.1.1850; parents were Henry Ford and Elizabeth née Godding.
He married Jane Reynolds in Highworth, Swindon, 5.11.1870.
BUT: does anyone know just when he died?
I believe he died around 1894, but can't find any record to prove this!
In the 1891 census he is shown as Head of the Household, a furnaceman at the GWR works, then in the 1901 census Jane Ford is shown as a widow.
